Audition Accelerator
The fastest, most efficient route to audition mastery.
A 16-week intensive for musicians who are done guessing—and ready to win.
Winning an orchestra job is one of the hardest things you'll ever do. You can practice for months and still not advance. You can nail your excerpts at home and fall apart under pressure. You can do everything "right" and watch someone else walk away with the job.
Here's what nobody tells you: more practice isn't always the answer.
The musicians who win auditions aren't just talented. They're strategic. They know how to learn faster, perform under pressure, and stand out in a room full of people who also practice eight hours a day.
Most people spend years figuring this out through trial and error. I spent three decades doing exactly that—taking auditions, losing auditions, eventually winning auditions, and then coaching hundreds of musicians through the same gauntlet.
"Everything I learned the hard way, distilled into 16 weeks."
The Audition Accelerator gives you the edge.
What You Actually Get
This isn't a feel-good seminar. It's not a pep talk with a metronome. It's a hybrid program that combines live coaching, pre-recorded masterclasses, individual exercises, and a private online academy—all designed to make you a smarter, more efficient, more confident auditioner.
→How to stand out when everyone else sounds good
→How to learn faster without burning out
→How to practice smarter, not longer
→How to perform under pressure (the part most people never figure out)
→How to use tools (apps, timers, recordings) that actually work
→How to go from "pretty good" to "hire-able" in a fraction of the time
“Thank you to the Audition Accelerator team—you've truly changed my life.”
”Working with Chris and this community has been transformative. It’s a space where I can share my fears and challenges openly, and always receive support.
This community has become indispensable. I’m so glad I had the courage to reach out.”
Ayaka, Associate Principal Trumpet in the Boise Philharmonic
“The sense of community here is unparalleled.”
“It's motivating to see peers in the same journey. With the tools and insights from Chris, Mandy, and the community, I genuinely believe in landing my dream job.
For anyone on the fence, this program goes beyond college classes and private lessons. It's a deep dive into mastering auditions.”
Abigail, Principal Harp, Baltimore Symphony

More access to instructors.
Direct access to experts who play your instrument, plus a network of motivated peers.

Trumpet player and Founder, Honesty Pill
Christopher Still is a trumpet player with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Before moving to LA, Chris was a member of the Colorado Symphony, the Dallas Symphony, the Charleston Symphony, and the Orquesta Sinfonica de Galicia. His own path to audition success was long and difficult. He loves showing students how to reach their goals in a fraction of the time it took him. When students began traveling from other countries to learn his audition process, Chris had the idea to found the online business Honesty Pill. Through Honesty Pill, he can reach the students who would most benefit from his advice, no matter where they live.

Clarinetist, Honesty Pill Coach, and Entrepreneur
Amanda McIntosh is a clarinet player-turned-entrepreneur. She has been a member of the Orquesta Sinfonica de Galicia, the Sarasota Opera, has performed and toured with many of the world's leading orchestras. Amanda was a finalist in multiple major auditions at the same time that she was working full-time as a business consultant, traveling the globe and advising Fortune 500 companies. She is an expert in time management and efficient practice. When she's not chatting with Honesty Pill clients, she helps musicians market their businesses. Her startup, Take My Face Off, creates award-winning, environmentally friendly skincare products.
